After about 10 years of working in residential construction and getting a taste for timber framing, I started my own business in 2021. Originally named The She Builder & Co., my focus has been on residential construction and carpentry. Winter of 2025 brought a rebrand to my business. Now doing business as Han Hewn, my mission is based in the design, production, and contracting of timber frames, custom carpentry, and green building practices.

Generally, I keep my projects local to central Vermont. However, timber frames and panelized projects are able to be crafted off site and delivered to location, making distance less of a burden in the construction process.
